Repurposed Terra Cotta Pot, Home Sweet Home, Bird Nest Vase, Vintage Glove, Paper Flowers

This rustically altered and even repurposed terra cotta pot has been reloved from a dirt pot into a primitive farmhouse styled table top bird's nest décor.

I took a 5" pot and chalk painted a splotch of white on the front. As I like to keep up to date with current trends and new techniques, I used the reverse white glue medium and a black and white transfer that says "Home Sweet Home".

I think my favorite element, even more than the transfer is the vintage glove where I painted on each finger N E S T. I always wanted to make this and as my stash suggests I have many more glove projects in store.

The paper rosette flowers took me several tries to get the right scale. I nailed it.

The shredded paper I ran thru this old paper cutter I've had. Makes a cool sound when you drop that leaver down. Anyways, that's the mind and the creation of an artist. Please enjoy other altered terra cotta pots by Jazzie Menagerie in the Repurposed cool stuff section.
